Day 2 - ROME - Our assistant will meet you at Rome's Fiumicino Airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to rest or visit the city and enjoy the enchanting scenery. Overnight at the hotel. Day 3 - ROME - Continental breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast departure for a sightseeing tour of the city by our new and unique Trolley. Free time for lunch on your own. Afternoon at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel. Day 4 - Rome - Pompeii - SORRENTO - Continental breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast departure for Naples and enjoy a short visit of the city. Afterwards, continue on to Pompeii and visit the incredibly well preserved ruins of the city buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79. Lunch followed by a visit to the excavations. Continue on to Sorrento with dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 5 - SORRENTO - Continental breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 6 - Sorrento - Capri - ROME - Continental breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast depart for Capri by steamer, visit the Blue Grotto (weather conditions permitting). Visit Anacapri and the Piazzetta, the heart of the island's meeting place. Lunch followed by a visit to Augustus Gardens. Departure to Rome for overnight at the hotel. Day 7 - ROME - Continental breakfast at the hotel. Today you will enjoy a morning tour to the Vatican Museum including the Tapestry Gallery, the Rooms of Raphael, the Sistine Chapel (please no shorts or bare arms) and the Vatican Library. Return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. Day 8 - ROME - U.S.A. - Continental breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Rome's Fiumicino airport for your departure flight.
