Your Itinerary with our suggestions:
Day 2 Arrival to International Airport of Bilbao only a few minutes away by taxi to the city. The amazing structure by Calatrava, shaped as a flying bird, will be your first encounter with the new architecture that transformed the city and the Basque Region. Check in to your Hotel centrally located and start to enjoy this beautiful city. Enjoy some tapas waiting to have dinner and remember in Spain nobody will eat before 9 pm! Overnight at hotel. Day 3 After breakfast is time to explore the city starting with the Guggenheim Museum, the Fine Arts Museum and the Euskalduna Palace as well as the Casco Viejo, the old city quarter. It is also time to enjoy the food…you don’t have to sit at a table to eat well… enjoy the ritual know as txikiteo i.e. going from bar to bar and drinking txikitos (small glasses of wine or zuritos (the same of beer) accompanied by the partaking of tempting hors d’oeurvres, known as pintxos. Overnight.
Day 5 Another day to visit the city. Or if the sky is particularly blue take the city train to the harbour to see the Bizkaia bridge - a hanging structure linking Getxo and Portugalete - part of the World Heritage and enjoy a good fish meal. Overnight

Day 1 Departure for Bilbao on your Intercontinental flight. Overnight on
board
Day 4 Riojas - the Spanish wine region - one of the most famous
and prestigious wine producing areas in the world. After breakfast pick up your car and drive to Hora along a scenic
road in the Basque countryside. Take your time to enjoy the view, Hora is only 1 hour and 40 minutes away. On arrival
two guided visits in English to two different cellars followed by Wine Tasting and at 2 pm a Gourmet Menu wait
for you in a restaurant in Haro. The meal consist on a gourmet set lunch of three courses, home made dessert, Rioja
wine, coffee and liquor. Stroll in the city after lunch to discover the old town district. Then drive back to Bilbao.
